North Florida Frozen Refrigerated Foods Doug Milne Scholarship 2024, 2025 Scholarship Applicants Information and Requirements.

The North Florida Frozen Refrigerated Food Assn (NFFRFA)Doug Milne scholarships are available to qualified students attending local universities who are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Universities.

Eligible students shall:

  1. Be pursuant of a degree in one of the following categories: Food Related Industry NUTRITION - MARKETING – BUSINESS - Public Relations Transportation – Accounting 
  2. Be entering their junior year of college. (Graduates will also be considered).
  3. Have a 2.50 GPA average.
  4. Perform a minimum of 12 hours on community events sponsored by the NFFRFA over one year. 
  5. Do have immediate family involved in the North Florida Frozen and Refrigerated Food Association.
  6. Not been previously been awarded NFFRFA Doug Milne Scholarship. 
  7. Furnish a statement of financial need indicating income and expenses.
  8. Supply a list of all Scholarships, Loans and Grants (provide names and amounts of each)
  9. List community service activities
  10. Be of good moral character.
  11. Agree to a pre-approval personal and confidential interview by an NFFRFA scholarship screening committee. (Pending CDC Guidelines)
  12. All Scholarships will be awarded Prior to end of Spring Semester ’25. One Master check with student breakdown will be sent to each participating university, all scholarship funds are to be credited against awarded students incurred debit at the participating schools authorized by NFFRFA Doug Milne Scholarship Fund Inc.

The Scholarship Fund plans to award Scholarships worth $3000.00 to qualified students. Applicants must be sincere in their goals and ability to be involved in the Associations community activities. The number of scholarships will depend on availability of funds.

We ask the University to seek qualified, students and submit their application to the NFFRFA Doug Milne Scholarship Committee for personal review and final selection.

*Students MUST be enrolled full-time (9 credit hours for undergraduates and 6 credit hours for graduates) to qualify for the NFFRFA Doug Milne Scholarship Fund scholarship
